This design converts a food dehydrator into an affordable filament dryer, very old school but effective. It dries up to 5 spools at a time. This dehydrator only goes up to about 70c which is perfect for drying filaments with less than 70c like PETG, ABS and ASA. It's not suitable for exotic filaments that requires drying temperature at 80c. I recommend 65c as the max temperature as TP 157 thermometer's max temperature is 70c. This is a good solution if you need to dry multiple filaments at a time. If you only need to dry one filament at time, I recommend buy the dedicated filament dryers as they are more energy efficient for the task. Print instructionShrinkage ratio between brands can varies. ( I used Elegoo ASA White. )Use ASA only (dry it well before printing)Print the first plate to make sure the fitting is right before printing the design.Print one Extender with thermometer, it must be placed at the very top of stacksPrint as many Extenders as you need, up to five.
