Filament Joiner

New design. Weld the knurled knobs onto 4mm screw/bolt. Snap square nuts into the bottom part - superglue them in. I used a couple of 14mm bolts that came as extras with my Prusa Mk3s.

Screw the filament ends tight and hold the gap over a tealight or candle flame. Squish the ends together until cool (or hold the device legs together with clothes peg or similar). Open the device arms and trim the squashed bulge - sand smooth.
