Filament roll holder
Filament roll holder is mounted on an aluminum profile 20x40 groove 5, and serves for feeding my 3D printer. Filament roll holder can take the rolls of different widths. The width of the roll is adjusted with the lengths of spacer bushes.
Mounted by 2 M5 screws.
Filament roll holder consists of:
1. Axle holder
2. 4 wheels
3. 2 steel axles, 90 mm long and 6 mm in diameter
4. 4 spacer bushes, 10x6 13 mm long
5. 4 O-rings, for the wheels fixation
Positions 1,2 and 4 were printed on the 3D Printer.
Position 3, 2 steel axles, I have excluded from an old color printer and sawed on necessary lengths. The source of axles is not that important, even an old nail can be taken if the diameter fits.
The spacer bushes have no play and sit quite firmly on the waves.
The axles are slightly pressed into the axle holder. If necessary, there are 4 threaded holes M3, for axle fixation.
