This is a Filament Runout sensor utilizing an LM393 optical sensor. It is intended for use in a bowden setup, with PC4-M6 PTFE fittings on both ends. The internals include a funnel cone to ensure that the filament is easily inserted through the optical cavity and back into the output fitting.

The optical sensor can be connected to a Max/Min pin set on most boards, you may need to invert the output in your firmware.

Fusion 360 file is included in case you want to modify to meet your needs.
