I have made so many things from Holspeed's filament roller, thanks for that! This is just another place to put a microswitch on your Ender 3. I wanted to give it a straight path with enough clearance to get my fat fingers in there to feed filament.
Credits also to eussrh for the switch holder! I did square off the discharge end to accomodate for the reed. I also put a slight bend in the reed at the exit end of the enclosure.
For this, I used a Philmore part number 30-18222 and three 2mm x 16mm screws and nuts for the switch and a 608 bearing and a 3mm x 20mm screw and nut for the roller.
You will need two spacers for the inner bearing race.
I used the ZMax, which is the D19 highlighted in the pinout diagram for the MKS Gen L. Marlin defaults to Servo_3, but even when using the pull up resistor I was getting an intermittent, but that might just be my board.
I tested this repeatedly using both Pronterface and live testing.
I know there are many different styles of thes
