Inline filament sensor and cleaner WIP (work in progress)
To avoid cluttering in my enclosure i feed filament from another closet section by ptfe tubes.
Previously i mounted the filament sensor and a separate cleaner near the filament roll but i found it inconvenient to miss the meter of filament when it the sensor triggered and the hassle of feeding so much filament in one tube.
This new setup i can have several tubes ready to go and just swap near the extruder.
This version is meant to feed a tube in one end and out the other to the extruder, for bowden setups i would recommend having this before the extruder in case the filament is soft enough to curl inside the cleaner.
I think this would work fine without tubes as well, but i have not tested that yet.
This version has the large bore PC4-m10 connector, but i may make a PC4-m6 at a later point as this could be more convenient.
To thread the connector i simply heated it carefully and threaded it while hot. Do
