Filament Smooth Splicer

This is a simple little tool to use with your Sunlu Filament Connector / Splicer (or other if applicable). After the heating cycle, simply close this tool over the spliced connection with the PTFE tubing and hold for about 30 seconds until cool. This allows the splice to cool in a completely smooth and straight manner.

After numerous failures while doing this and having it cool bent or rough, I had to find a better way. This works.

The Bambu file - SmoothSplicerA1 - is on an A1 with Sunlu PLA+ 2.0 printing with 4 walls to make it solid.

The raw .stl files can be used for any printer. I would recommend same basic settings.

The other .3mf file - SmoothSplicerOrca - is from OrcaSlicer for Bambu Lab A1.

Sunlu PLA+ 2.0
.4mm stainless nozzle
.20mm layer

Any PLA, ABS, PETG, etc. should work for this simple print.
