Filament Spool Holder (Parallel Design)

This 3D printable filament spool holder fits standard 1kg rolls of filament.

The spool holder base is 3D printable without the need for supports.

This spool holder works well for a Prusa i3 style printer, but can be used with any 3D printer that uses 2020 aluminum extrusions.

The spool holder mounts to a 2020 aluminum extrusion using two M3 x 10 socket head cap screws and two M3 T-nuts.

Two 608 bearings are mounted on either end of the rotation cylinder to reduce friction when filament is fed into the extruder.
