Filament Storage Dispenser

I’ve been trying to experiment with more PETG, PC and eventually Nylon. I’ve begun to realize the difference consistent and low moisture content impacts the quality of some prints. I was looking at some of the different dry storage dispensers and they seem to run between $30-$60.

I found a few designs on Thingverse which utilized bulk dry good storage containers. This specific container is 132cup model from Amazon which cost $11. Add some home grown printed parts, some desiccant $3 and a humidity meter $3 and you get a nice solution for under $20.

The initial idea inspiration came from Aibecy eSUN eBOX 3D Printing Filament Box https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HP3SPMW It seems like a nicely made item but at $75 it’s just a bit pricey for what it is.
