My printer is stored in a closet with a lot of unused clothes rack space, so this is a perfect solution for me. This is not a remix but is inspired by Jackson's original design. I redesigned these to be much lighter / use less filament and to accommodate slightly wider cardboard spools with plastic rings around them for the AMS. This was not designed to feed filament to the printer straight from the hanger but just for storage. It is possible that it would do fine to feed filament directly from this, but I do question how well it would hold up if the filament got tangled and the extruder pulled with a lot of force on the spool. For generic PLA, it cost about $1 USD and takes an hour to print a pair of these. You can fit 3 pairs of them on the X1's build plate at a time if you rotate them cleverly. See the included print profile. Please let me know if you print this for yourself and find it useful!
