I store my filament on shelving units so I needed a way to stack the filament spools. I came up with this design and originally made them out of ¾” plywood on my CNC router. Needing to add more I decided to make them on my printer, the result was the model listed here. I use ¾” X 1” pine strips as the support stringers cut to a length of 36”. That is the nice thing about this design you can make the rack any length you like. I attach the stringers to the end using a #6 drywall screw just to keep them from sliding out. I have included printable stringers for those who do not have access to the woodworking equipment required to make the stringers. Using the printed stringers it will hold 3 spools.
