The design leverages two pieces of 20mm PVC tubing, then you can use one guide element per spool, using one or two spacers to separate the guides to accommodate the spools. The system can be extended for multiple spools. My boxes can hold up to 4 spools, thus my assembly uses 4 guides and 4 to 6 spacers.
