Hello Everyone-

I started having problems with my filament taking on moisture and saw a lot of folks were using air tight containers with desiccant.

So this was my solution to my filament storage.

I purchased a 5 lb can of desiccant that I simply poured into the bottom of my container. I left it loose, so when it is time to recharge it, I can pour it into a pan and place it in the oven.

What is required . . .

Air tight container. I used a Sterilite 18-1/2L x 14-7/8W x 11-1/8H Item 19334304, 32 Qrt size.
M5-8 Screws x 16
M5 Nut x 16
3/4" PVC, 11-1/2" x 2
PVC Supports x 4
Desiccant (I used 5lb)

Using the container listed, I placed the supports 3-1/4" from the sides, and 5" from the bottom.

I also use a Mini Digital Hygrometer that I keep in the container. (Not Shown) I was amazed at how fast the humidity dropped once I closed the lid with fresh desiccant.

Note that the rolls overlap about 1". Next time I will try a slightly larger container.
