This is my second idea to separate the moon regolith "FilterTunsi", weighs 503grams. Same as the first model (Lunar TuniSampler), it will be equipped with an occupancy sensor, servo motor and an IR camera. The inlet will not allow any materials exceeding 23 mm of diameter to enter the system due to its square shaped net with a little slope for making the bigger rocks to slide away. In case the sensor detects an incoming materials, a connected servo motor to the main filters plates rod will begin a rotative vibrating cycle clockwise and anticlockwise during a minute and will stop working until detecting new materials. As a result the sampling process will be laid, layer by layer in the container. A visual confirmation from an embedded IR camera will allow the system to know when to stop. It will be necessary the presence of a micro controller or a nano computer(Raspberry like) on the (lander/Rover) and linkage cables with the main camera and sensors embedded in the "FilterTunsi" to process the described task.
