When I was in grade school, I used to make my index and middle fingers into a V and imagine a saw blade between them. I would idly tap my fingers on my desk, imagining I was sawing it in half. Thanks to modern technology, my bored fantasy has materialized.
This print is designed to fit Makita jigsaw bits. The bottom slides through a slot in one ring, while the top inserts into a slot in the other ring. In practice, it works...OK. Not the smooth cutting experience I hoped for, but also the bit I used is intended for metal rather than wood. It's what I had on hand (har).
As with all cutting devices, you should wear gloves when operating the finger jig.
