Splint modeled to help improve flexion in my distal inter-phalangael joint after a knuckle replacement due to a woodworking accident. Splint ratchets to allow the joint to be held at a bent angle for a while then increase the angle after the tendon has loosened up. There is a groove in the base to provide relief for the tendon but it can still cut off circulation over time. This has helped me and was approved for use by my surgeon and OT. Consult with the appropriate parties before use. I've included two sizes, a standard size that allows for PIP movement and an extended size that attempts to isolate the PIP joint during use. An additional plate was added to easily print a slice of the model to test the fit. You may need to adjust scale to fit comfortably. STEP files provided for any modifications or improvements.
