Update: Added a new full finger version with a contoured fingertip so no need to tape that area any more! [2017-05-3]
I broke my middle finger (volar plate avulsion) and needed to hold the finger straight and flexed at the base knuckle 90ish degrees to my palm for proper healing. It was the weekend so i just made a small finger splint in Onshape and printed it out. Then used some sports tape to hold it in place so that it can't lift up and keeps my finger centred in it.
Pretty easy and seems to do the trick! It's tailored to my hand and finger size but you can just copy the model in Onshape (free cloud based CAD) and edit the dimensions to work for you.
