This is a modified version of Fins2: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3260667. It is slightly larger and has a slightly different overall shape. The main difference is that the fins, which actually have a cross-shaped cross section, are double twisted instead of simply vertical. This makes the part easier to print since the intersecting fins provide a more rigid structure.

This lamp is designed to hold any one of several LED lights called "puck" lights. You can get these powered by either batteries of wall power. This blog page has links for wall powered lights that work well: http://birkbinnard.com/blog/wall-powered-led-lights/

You can read about my double twist method at this blog page: http://birkbinnard.com/blog/do-the-twist2/. For reasons I explain in the description of Fins2 this part takes a long time to print - a little more than 46 1/2 hours using a print speed of 80 mm/sec and a layer height of 0.200 mm.
