This is a project that I made for menage the cable and power adapter for my sim rig.
I think is a good idea to hide in a race style fire extinguisher.
I designed this BOX especially for the SIMAGIC M10 power supply but is suitable for other use, just take care of dimension and hot dissipation. For reference the M10 power supply measure 207mm x 85 mm x 45 mm. There is also a space for a secondary power supply, I will use this space to fit the wind simulator electronics.
WARNING - Be aware of electric shock and burns when you wire the power cord - WARNING
To complete the project you need the following materials:
- 125 mm diameter, 2 mm thick PVC pipe. You have to cut a 290 mm long peace of pipe.
- Fire extinguisher valve. I get from an old fire extinguisher and was a 30 mm screw. If you don't have it you can find on amazon a simple manometer. I think the effect will be good.
- Emergency kill switch, Optional but recommended especially if you use a DD wheel.
