Fire Hydrant

Canadian fire hydrant located in the Shipyards district in North Vancouver. The model was generated by Bambu Lab's experimental AI Scanner photogrammetry service from a video recorded on a Pixel 6a phone. The video included three passes around the object at three different heights, and was about a minute long. The AI Scanner service generated a result with 1.7 million triangles. I down-sampled that by a factor of four to produce this model with about 440 thousand faces, and sliced the base produce a flat bottom surface for printing. The model in the photo was printed in generic black PLA on a Bambu Lab A1.
