FIREPLACE HO SCALE

This print of a FIREPLACE is intended to be used as the foundation structure to either be painted with either a brick look or with sand sprinkled on wet glue to simulate a rock fireplace. The chimney height is 29 feet HO scale which can be easily trimmed shorter if necessary. It is printed as 2 halves, then glued together. I exclusively print with PLA and have found that ordinary clear lacquer thinner (Nail polish remover) is a wonderful glue. Make a small test for yourself of two pieces of scrap printed PLA and give it a try. Let sit for 20 seconds and then try to break it apart. It leaves no residue and is applied with a small brush. I've been using lacquer thinner as a glue on stryene and PLA for years. No sloppy or messy glue to show when finished.
