If and when the blade is beyond serviceability simply remove the blade from the handle, discard responsibly and reprint a new blade and fit it into the existing handle which can be reused over and over again until you lose it overboard fishing. There is a lanyard attachment point at the base of the handle, the hole will accept up to a 4mm diameter lanyard. Ideally attach the knife to your bait table by a piece of suitable material and you'll never have to worry about rust or losing it ever again.The knife in the photo description was printed with drab colors for the purpose of display for 3d printing. In real world scenarios I would recommend the knife be printed out of something very bright like a hi-vis color for example. The handle shown in the photo
