Fishing line spooler - despooler

Simply attach this to any common drill and you can quickly despool your fishing reel. There are two ways to start. Either run your line thru the side hole or use the hole on the barrel and slowly turn the drill until the line catches. I have 3/4in dog holes on my workbench which I like to use to hold the spooler when respooling is needed. I made a bench dog with a matching hex hole to accept the spooler. The bench dog is loose fitting so it will freely spin in the dog hole.

4-21-24 Update: I added a bench dog with a plain circular hole. I found that if there is slight jam in the spool line it would sometime try to lift the up the bench dog and jam it. Having the spool spin freely in the bench dog solved this problem.
