Fitbit Alta Watch Band Replacement

This TPU printed watch band fits Fitbit Alta perfectly. I was motivated to design this product because my wife's colleague with a broken Fitbit band thinks engineers can do anything, so I took up the project to uphold engineers pride.

The design process was fun. I used Fusion 360 to design different solutions. First I tried to rebuild the the mount inside of the original band but even tough PVA proved to be too brittle for the application. Details of the mount were also too fine to replicate with the printers limited resolution.

After the failure I switched to design a case to house the watch and add bands to it. The first prototype was too difficult to put on. What you are downloading now is v2.0. The band length is mainly designed for lady.

I tried to print the case in black with white bands and it looks pretty cool.
