Fix ring for a rope or chain - includes OpenScad source files

This is a fix ring with a base that is 60mm in diameter. Use it to tie a rope or fix a chain.

I've designed this as a two part print so the ring part can be printed horizontally to allow the print lines to run around the loop thereby making it very strong. See the Cura screen shot for the ideal printing position.

Print with supports but make infill 100% concentric lines for strength.

You may have to play with the support density and spacing to keep the ring fully symmetrical.

PLA works well and is very strong but may not survive too long outside in bright sunlight. I suggest spraying it white or silver to help protect it.

I have included two different base options. One has a 0.4mm gap between the two parts and the other base has 0.5mm clearance. The ring part is the same for both.
