This stretched tangle of wire and stakes turns open ground into a slow, bleeding maze. Rusted barbs catch on cloth, armor, and unwary flesh alike, holding victims in place while arrows or las-fire seek them out. Commanders mark these fixed barriers on every battle-map, knowing that a few meters of cruel wire can be worth more than any wall when the enemy begins their charge.
