The course plate provided with the original fileset does not fit in the log. These do.
The rounded one is the same base geometry as the original, just with the face cut at an angle which makes it flush to the log. Print this one face-down. Three material changes are required.
The flattened one takes a few mils of the bottom of the fixed rounded model in parallel with the new face plane, so it can be printed face-up without incurring layer lines and only requiring a single material change for elevated lettering.
The included 3MF is a Bambu Studio project file which has these recommended orientations applied. You should be able to modify the content of the text in Studio to put your course number on it, just double-check the alignment before printing. *The narrow end of the plate goes to the left!*
