I needed to collect some data that required my web cam be setup in the exact same position every time, so I designed this camera mount. It's built to be rigid and deterministic. Rather than relying purely on friction to clamp it in place it has teeth that lock into each other and require intentionally loosening the bolts to change angles. It attaches to a small corner bracket that aligns with the outer corner of my printer, guaranteeing that the web cam is always aligned the same.
The bolts are #10-32 x 1.25". The mount is designed for a Microsoft LifeCam HD-3000, but it could easily be adapted for other cameras. The corner piece is sized for a Monoprice Select Mini v2. It was designed in Fusion 360.
