Flashforge Adventurer Dial Indicator Holder

The key to levelling the Adventurer 3 and Adventurer 4 printers successfully is getting it as trammed as best as possible with shims and/or tape.
I watched many videos showing this, but none had a good tool to judge the tramming.

I decided I wanted to be able to use a dial indicator to tram these printers, since I use one for my other printers with knobs.

My first design had the dial indicator mount fit into the nozzle mount but it just wasn't stable, so into the bin it went.

This design requires you to remove the head assembly (just two screws), then lift up and towards you to unlock the head and put it aside (or if you would rather remove the head, disconnect the bowden tube and unplug the ribbon cable, but to be safe, turn the power is off before you unplug it).

Attach a dial indicator to this bracket using a large bolt/nut (I used 1/4-20 as it's what I had) and then attach the bracket to the gantry where the head assembly was, using the screws that held the head assemb
