This is a replacement spool holder for FlashForge Creator Pro 2015 Model. It uses 608ZZ roller skate bearings to minimize friction when the spool rotates. Less friction means less strain on the extruder motor and more consistent extrusion.

I used 5/16" threaded rod and captive nuts in this design. I would prefer 8mm rod, but the local hardware stores don't carry metric sizes. 5/16" is 7.9375mm, so the difference is less than 1%.
