I have found I get a better finish on my prints when I keep the print area enclosed using a few scraps of foamboard. Having chunks of Blu-Tac holding the boards in place looked a bit unsightly, so I made these hinges which can be stuck in place to hold the boards.
Doublesided tape, a dab of superglue, BluTac, a loop of Selotape, anything will work to hold them in place really.
Use two of the U-channel shaped parts fixed directly to the printer to hold in each of the side panels and then use the remaining parts to construct a couple of hinges for the front panel.
