###Flashforge Finder 3D Printer Spool Holder


The Finder is an affordable 3D printer for K-12 classrooms. However, it does not allow easy mounting of common spools. In designing this holder, I tried an existing one on Thingiverse (thing:1763329), which works but does not quite meet my expectations. Thus, I started a new design. I followed roughly the basic shape, extended the end stopper and added a connector that accommodates the 6-mm filament guide. A few other tweaks are used to save filament and strengthen the holder. **The smallest spool inner diameter that can fit is 45 mm**.

#### To Print

PLA filament works. PETG or ABS is preferred for strength and flexibility. A 20% infill rate is fine. The resolution does not really matter; 0.2mm should be fine.
