Work in Progress!! I recently got into casting aluminum and wanted to make a small flask for casting smaller parts. The inside dimensions are 180mmx160mmx60mm(x2), so the total height is 120mm. I designed this Flask in two halves, the Drag (bottom) and the Cope (top). The top is located onto the bottom using printed centering pins. I tested the tlerances on the fitment with PC-PETG Carbon Fiber Filament on my Bambu X1C, and made the Pin 12mm in CAD and the Hole 13mm, please check this for your printer and filament as it is nescesary for proper alignment of the two halves. I have included my test files. If the tolerances are too tight or too loose you can change them in your CAD program. I have included both .step and the solidworks design files. if you have any questions about the design you can send me a DM.I haven't had the time and filament for printing the both halves to make pictures as they need about 400 grams of filament each and the carbon fiber filament is expensive.
