Fetching tape is my favorite method of attaching my feathers to my arrow shafts. It is a bit tricky to handle the double sided tape, the feather and the shaft. There is a commercial dispenser available, but I like my version better.
The included 3mf files has all the parts ready to print in 3 passes. I am using SUNLU meta, but you may wish to choose other filament. To print, first light up the base, dispenser cap, dispenser, take up reel and roll grip. These parts can all be printed in one pass. Next, light up the 2 reel guards and print them. I suggest printing out the nuts and bolts in a stiffer, stronger filament, I used SUNLU PLA+. I printed them out separately to avoid stringing and I did up the quality a notch to get nicer threads.
Once you obtained a roll of Bohning or Bearpaw tape, it is time for assembly. Place the roll grip on the table. Place the dispenser cap on the grip and then place one of the reel guards on the inside of the cap. Now peel off about 8 inches o
