Once upon a time, I tried to print with flexible filaments. Alas, despite all efforts the filament would wrap itself around the gears at any opportunity.
So here is a widget that now has me printing all manner of squidgy, bendable objects. Hooray!
**Notes**
You probably want to print with supports enabled as there is a hole in the base for the heater stalk thingy to thread into.
My printer can give edges which are quite bumpy, but a quick finish in the filament hole with a 2mm drill bit smoothed the edges right out and the filament runs very freely.
*Update*: Thanks to user [augustus0922](https://www.thingiverse.com/augustus0922/about), who shared the small filler screw to soak up space when using a bowden setup. (photos in the comments).
If you need to tweak the design for your printer, let me know and I'll share the Fusion 360 files with you.
