Since I needed a height-adjustable device for my LED light stripe lamp https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3028375 , I created this pulley attachment.

I use a 1mm PP (25daN / 25.5kg) rope ( https://www.hornbach.de/shop/Seil-Paraloc-Mamutec-Polypropylen-weiss-1-mm-100-m/8442206/artikel.html ) for the construction, but ropes up to 6mm (0.236 ") diameter should also be possible. So far, I have loaded the construction with up to 5Kg (11,023 lbs), but it should be even a lot more possible ...

No screws are needed for this construction (the parts are simply crimped together with a water pump pliers). For higher than the loads tested by me, however, a drop of superglue is useful.

3D printer
A little bit of filament
A water pump pliers
