Flexi Axolotl Case

This is an elegant case for the brilliant Flexi Hybrid Baby Axolotls model, printed at 90% scale. You can use it as a gift or to safely store your axolotl.I wanted a sleek and minimal case, and I managed to hide the hinges so they don’t protrude at the back. In the front there is a small mark/notch showing where to open it and giving you a better grip. The hinge doesn’t need any extra hardware; at 45° there is a small groove that makes it easier to assemble by snapping the parts together. Inside, the axolotl lies on an inlay of TPU Air (it could be another material; that’s just what I chose for a slightly softer fit), as well as a matching inlay in the lid that fits over the axolotl. This way you can flip the case and the axolotl inside stays secured.
