Technical Description – One-Piece Printable Chain Link (Hex Style)
This model is a modular, print-in-place articulated chain designed for FDM 3D printers.
Each link is engineered as a single piece, allowing for flexibility immediately after printing—no assembly required.
Features:
Articulated: Each link rotates freely within the hexagonal layout.
Print-in-Place Design: Assembles itself during the print. No post-processing or glue.
Tight Tolerances: Calibrated for standard FDM printers using 0.4 mm nozzles. Clearance between moving parts ~0.3 mm.
No Supports Needed: Oriented and designed to print flat on the bed without supports.
