Flip Dot Lens protector

Hi everyone, my friend bought himself a flipdot collimator, and he needed lens protection.

I designed the lens protection based on the design of the collimator itself, to assemble and install this protection you will need:
- printed details:
1)the template for the lens
2) base for collimator protection
-a piece of polycarbonate 2mm thick from which the lens will be cut
-rubber transparent glue, this is very important because polycarbonate does not like superglue (cyanoacrylate) it makes the glass cloudy

glue the cut lens and the base to protect the collimator, after gluing, you can carefully process the edges with a file or sandpaper.

Installation is performed by removing the standard plastic plug that should hold the lens, in its place we paste our ready-made protection, on the same rubber glue!!!!!!
