Flip Up Scope Cap (46mm ID)

Flip up scope cap for 46mm outer diameter barrel. Inner diameter of the cap is 46mm; outer diameter is 50mm.

Since it is not practical to post a range of different inner diameter caps, use the dimensions to calculate the correct scale to fit a given scope and scale the file appropriately in the slicer used for printing. Round up for looser tolerances. Recommend rounding up an additional .25mm -.50mm depending upon the output tolerances of the printer.

Example: 50mm OD/46mm ID * X /39mm ID.
X = 42.39mm OD, round up to 42.5mm for a scale of 85% or 43mm @ 86% for a looser fit.

30May18 Update: Uploaded 46mmID_ScopeCap and 46mmID_RingMount. Revised files with tighter hinge tolerances. Clip lock deleted (did not keep cap in the up position as designed).

Design was originally intended to be printed as a single print in place piece, which requires looser tolerances to print without fusing the two parts together.
