It's a familiar frustration: your favorite pair of flip-flops break, and you're left with a choice: trash them or try a sketchy DIY fix. But what if there was a better way? Introducing my entry for the "Built to Flex" contest, a flexible TPU replacement part designed to get your broken flip-flops back on your feet! This model specifically addresses the common issue of a snapped toe post. Designed to be fast and easy to print without supports, it offers the perfect balance of flexibility and strength needed for footwear. If your sole is still in good shape, this print provides an elegant and long-lasting repair, keeping your favorite sandals out of the landfill. Not only is it a robust fix, but it's also very comfortable to wear and should fit the vast majority of adult-sized flip-flops.I personally printed this with TPU 95A, which is quite tough, but you can also try printing it with Bambu Lab TPU 85A or 90A; it should work without any issues.Why Print This?Sustaina
