FlipGuard Desk Switch Housing a compact, protective enclosure designed to relocate your PC’s power button from the front of the case to your desk for easier access. The integrated flip-cover prevents accidental shutdowns, bumps, or curious pets from triggering the switch. Inside, the housing accepts standard MX-style mechanical keyboard switch, allowing you to use it not only as a power button, but for any project that needs a momentary switch. Or if you just want something satisfying to click, it doubles as a desk-friendly fidget button. This print is simple, functional, and adds a satisfying tactile element to your workspace. Print settings: Layer Height: 0.2mm Supports: Required depending on print orientation Infill: 15–25% Walls: 3 For fun, I printed the lid without top and bottom layers, to create the honeycomb pattern. Assembly Insert your mechanical MX switch into the internal mount. Wire the switch to your PC’s front-panel power header (or any momentary-input device). Snap the flip-cover into the hinge slots. Use double-sided table I wanted to attach power button anywhere on or under your desk. Enjoy protected, relocated power button anywhere on your desk.
