a flipper bot I designed, writeup and instructions to follow
Desc in a very fast n crude way.
The shell holds N20, I dont recall the gears ratio, with the TPU wheels direct to motor shaft.
The flipper part connects the hinge with a steel wire from some air frame I had laying around.
Servo is all metal servo , connects with the same steel wire used for the hinge (cut to size, bend the ends...)
Control board is Malenki form https :// robsonrobotics [.] com
Shield - just a piece of tin I had laying around, painted, and battle stripe added for fear factor.
As you can see, no hot-glue was spared in the assembly :D and the bot survived well until a destructive round where a mini carbide blade was about to cut the LiPo in half and likely flare up, we had accepted defeat gracefully, overall it was a great day out.
Its a fun little bot that depending on your servo , and flap position you can have pretty fast lift of heavy load (150g right... easy) the motors are fast enough , makes it agi
