Flite Test Spitfire Formers

Formers for the Flite Test Master Series Spitfire.

Printed with two top and bottom layers, two walls as well as 2% infill (I used alternating layer lines), these came out comparable in weight and strength to foam pieces and are a lot easier on the hands to cut out. If you're looking to save weight, printing at a lower layer height is one of the best ways to shed a few extra grams on this design.

Make them as strong or as light as you want while delegating some work to a machine and enjoy taking your time with the more exciting parts of the building process.
