These are a few of my FT Explorer designs that have made the plane much more manageable and long-lasting.
1) Chassis - This is a wire chassis used to hold the electronics inside the body of the FT. It will hold a flight controller with a mount pattern of 30.5x30.5. I used an omnibus F4. There is an XT60 connector towards the front that gives you space to have your longer batteries in the nose. The elevated part towards the front is for holding an FrSky X6R snugly so that antennas can be fed through the top of the plane at your ideal angles. There is a buzzer/beeper mount in the back. The whole thing is kept in place with M3 screws and bolts (3 mount points). I recommend gluing the nuts into the body prior to inserting it into the plane. THIS MUST BE PRINTED WITH SUPPORTS - I used tree supports in Cura.
The Fusion 360 file for this included in case you need to make any changes.
2) Wing Guards - The rubber bands that secured my wing to the plane started to cut into the wing. Pr
