Floating Desk Shelf

These custom-designed 3D-printable brackets are made to securely mount a floating shelf above your desk using a clamp system—no permanent installation required.Each bracket consists of:The main bracket armA 3D-printed threaded screwA snap-on pressure distribution plateThe brackets are clamped to your desk by tightening the printed screw from below, pressing the plate against the underside of the desk. This method ensures a stable, non-destructive grip. The snap-on plate enlarges the contact surface, distributing the clamping force evenly and preventing damage to the desk surface.On each side of the bracket, there are pre-modeled holes for attaching the shelf panel with wood screws. This model was tested with an 18 mm thick beech laminated wood panel measuring 400×200 mm.
