Floor Lamp

This lamp has been designed for a 1-in-6 scale diorama. At the default scale, the upright is made from a metal drinking straw 6.0mm diameter - corresponding holes are 6.2mm diameter. There is provision for a 3V button cell (3032) holder inside the base.

Change the scale as required. Use clear / transparent / translucent material for the glass. For best results print using a resin printer. If using a filament printer, use 100% infill for the glass and at least 25% for the two bases. Use supports as required.

I spray-painted the bases using a gold rattle-can to match the existing upright.

For Illumination, use 5mm LEDs (with resistor) or cob LED strips. Run wires for the LED illumination through the upright tube and fit the battery holder in the base.

Consider adding weight at the bottom - i.e. washers or nuts.

The “assembly” models are provided as an assembly reference - avoid printing these.

2025/08/17: Added tube with 1mm wall thickness. If you are printing a tube, align an end
