Floppy Saber

A new lightsaber variation inspired by the grueling duel between Family Guy's Stewie and Herbert. Twisting the lightsaber one way turns the blade into a floppy mess while twisting it the other way makes it ready for action. The print-in-place hinge is angled so the blade will remain straight when oriented one way and will hinge when rotated 180 degrees. Parts print in separate pieces to attempt to maximize strength and allow for multicolored prints without an AMS. The multicolored hilt - front fake button can be achieved via AMS or by moving the piece to it's own plate, inserting a pause at layer 79-81 depending on how you'd like the fake button colored, and manually swapping the filament before resuming.
