π‘Save your Flos Button from the extinction of neon tubes!π‘ Recently, the original circular fluorescent tubes (T5 FC 22W and 40W with 2GX13 base) have become almost impossible to find or are sold at crazy prices. Moreover, the old electronic ballasts tend to fail over time. This conversion kit allows you to upgrade the beautiful Flos Button designer lamp (designed by Piero Lissoni) using a modern and cheap "Magnetic circular LED module" (e.g., a 36W LED ring/donut plate), without drilling or modifying the original lamp in any way. π‘ How works: The base of the Flos Button is made of resin/plastic and is not magnetic. I designed these 3 brackets that screw exactly into the holes of the old neon-holding clips. Each bracket has a slot for a hex nut and a hole to let a metal screw pass from the opposite side. The result? The iron hex heads of the 3 screws will create a perfect "magnetic track" at 120Β° where the new LED ring will attach firmly, making it also easy to remove in the future.
