I started my 3D printing journey with a good old Creality Ender 3 and so the first actions were calibration, calibration, calibration… But also with my current printers from time to time I have to calibrate new filaments. The typically calibrations I do for each filament are Pressure Advance and (Slicer) Flow Calibration. Even if Bambu Studio and Orca Slicer have methods for both calibrations integrated I never warmed up to the integrated methods for flow calibration. At Ender 3 ages I came across to the Teaching Tech Calibration page, which is a well documented and explained page for the complete printer calibration. There I found the Slicer Flow Calibration, which I have remained faithful to this day. The reason? It’s based on measuring not visually or sensually. I like numbers to compare. On model pages you can find many adaptions of the Teaching Tech method (e.g Flow Calibration Cube from humebeam). I looked at the models, but I didn’t liked the cube. And for Core X/Y printer I tho
